Getting out of the way: evading and redirecting.

Key takeaways:

Practice physically getting out of the way of an imaginary attack. Step-drag and/or redirect.
Move from your center.
Move with a "Yes" feeling - focus on what you do want.
Notice how small of a movement is needed to evade (get off the "line of attack") and redirect.
How do you feel about potentially being attacked when you know what to do about that (evade and redirect!) and you can deal with an attack effectively?

Practice suggestions:

Practice step-dragging and redirecting. Do as much as you need (no less), but only what you need (no more).
Notice what it feels like in your body when you move with a sense of "Yes, I am getting out of the way. Easy. No big deal."
Where in your life could you use more of this?
